Psalm 1

Face God. Do not play God. Do not close your eyes to God.

He who nourishes his sight, is a light to the world.

So that others too may also see, which is sights sole purpose.

It is the light that gives image to the sight, not the eyes. The eyes are blind without the light.

The eyes can only receive the sight the light has given.

And the sight itself is unseen until the notion of one’s own self is abandoned..

Recovery with a Christian prescription: Blessed are those who encounter the absolute poverty of self.

They will know the saving posture of humility.

Their eyes will be opened to a truth of such pure delight, that they will yearn and hunger for it day and night.

It Is here that they shall find the ultimate release and eternal nourishment.
